Documenting Jewish sepulchral heritage in Warsaw.

As part of the project, journalists from Israel visited Warsaw. The aim was to learn about the ways of documenting Jewish heritage in Poland, with particular emphasis on the project of protection and care of the Jewish cemetery in Warsaw at Okopowa Street. As part of the visit, journalists visited the Jewish cemetery in Warsaw at Okopowa street, Jewish cemetery in Radość, Warsaw, POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews and the Warsaw Uprising Museum. Workshops were held on documenting Jewish sepulchral heritage in Warsaw and a debate with the participation of Polish journalists on cooperation in the field of documentation and protection of common heritage in Poland – including consideration of ways and possibilities of involvement on the part of Israel and on ways of discussing difficult topics in the field of relations international in the media. Journalists also met with the Minister of Culture and National Heritage prof. Piotr Gliński. The visit resulted in the publication of over a dozen articles in the electronic and traditional press in English and Hebrew.
